Finally back on the Betzenberg

It's been a long time since we last played on the Betzenberg in Kaiserslautern. A whole 10 years.
All the greater was the anticipation of an expectedly terrific atmosphere on a saturday evening at 8.30 p.m. in the top match of the day.

So B-Jay and Jesus and three additional die-hard fands set off in the morning for the long drive to the Pfalz. Traffic jam after traffic jam and a few (forced) bio breaks  later, it quickly became clear that the targeted arrival of 5 p.m. was definetly not going to happen. Thanks to B-Jays's driving skills, we were then but still in time. Unfortunately, however, only at the foot of the mountain and even if eight and a half hours of driving cost quite a bit of strength, the Betzenberg still had to be climbed. Also, who the f**k builds his stadium on top of a mountain...

After a long wait in the rain, we finally arrived in the already well-filled stands in the guest block, where Nini was already waiting for the rest.
Unfortunately, the only ones who burned off fireworks this evening were once again the fans, as expected vemehrt on our side, and from the team came unfortunately not much. Some serious individual mistakes later and few ideas in the game forward, we lose the game unfortunately 2-0 and have to take a heavy blow in the fight for the promotion places.

At least the return trip went smoothly, so we were finally back home at 6 o'clock on Sunday.

Conclusion: Shitty game, but was still cool
